the lady behind Pet Treks. My name is Sara. I’m a mom and a wife and I have a pack of 3 dogs. Occasionally I’m a foster mom to orphaned baby squirrels that we raise and release when they’re old enough. We love animals in our house. It wouldn’t feel like home without the fur balls rolling around and sound of nails tapping on the floor when we come through the front door.

"Sara is absolutely amazing! We have a 1.5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, Stix, who is high-energy and needs lots of walks. My husband and I work late hours on certain days of the week so Sara takes our boy for long walks on those days to help us get his energy burned off.
Although his attention is on every single bird he sees, Sara has taught him within a few sessions how to properly heel and walk properly. She is very trustworthy, loving, and dedicated! Stix absolutely adores his "Miss Sara," as well, and looks forward to seeing her on their special days together.

"We recently returned from a week’s vacation. I was so nervous to leave our puppy for that long. We hired Sara to take care of her and our 2 cats. I was expecting the cats to hide from her, and I was worried that our puppy would have a hard time settling in with us being gone. Sara sent me pictures and updates every day. She even managed to pet our kitties and get a video of one of them purring.
When we got home, our puppy was so content and well cared for and happy to see us. She adjusted so well to the entire experience. Our kitties were so content that they greeted us with purrs and joy. It was so evident that Sara spent time loving all of our furbabies. She went above and beyond.
She stopped by after we got back and our puppy was overjoyed to see her again. I can tell that they bonded over the week. It was such a relief that everything went so well and that Sara kept in contact with us to let us know how things were going each day.
Any time I have to leave my animals, I am definitely calling Pet Treks. I am so thankful that we found someone that we can truly trust to take good care of our furry loves when we are away."

"I have used several pet sitters in the area and Pet Treks is heads and shoulders above the rest. Sara took care of my dog Sox for extended periods while I had 2 surgeries & extended recoveries which made it impossible to take care of all of her needs. Sox absolutely loves her - they bonded immediately.
